Breast enlargement (Augmentation):

WHAT IS BREAST ENLARGEMENT:
This type of surgery consists in inserting prothesis filled with silicone gel or saline under the mammary gland or breast muscle. Incisions through which protheses are inserted can be made in the infra-mammary fold, around the nipple-aureola complex or within thearm pit area. The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia.

HOW LONG DOES THE SURGERY TAKE:
The surgery takes 1 - 2 hours.

WHAT ABOUT RECOVERY:
Patient stays in hospital for 1-2 days after the surgery.

WHAT ABOUT CONVALESCENCE:
The stitches are ultimately taken out 7-8 days after the surgery. Patients must wear special bras for 1 months after the operation.
