Eyelid
correction (Blepharoplasty)
OVERVIEW OF THE PROCEDURE
Eyelid surgery is performed to remove upper eye infolding,
under-eye bags, as well as fine lines around the eyes,
possibly excess fat and muscle. The procedure shall give the eyes
a more youthful, alert appearance. During the procedure the surgeon
usually administers local anaesthesia, often under the supervision
of the anaesthesiologist (the so called sedation). Incisions are
made in natural skim creases, parallel to the palpebral margin.
The wound is closed with delicate sutures.
RECOVERY
TIME
In most cases you can return to work after a week.
